The wonderfully literally named ‘Wallet MP3 Player’ is exactly what you’d expect - well, actually no, it isn’t a wallet that plays MP3s so I take that back. Instead it is a credit card format mp3 player that you could theoretically fit in your wallet (though you wouldn’t be able to press the buttons).

Speaking of which, this is an MP3 player stripped down in almost everyway since play/pause, scan/skip backwards and forwards and volume controls are the only controls on the device (I presume there’s a hold button but there was no official mention). Just like Apple’s shuffle there’s no screen either so song selection should be about as hit and miss as trying to detect a Paris Hilton brain cell using an ultra powerful microscope: pointless.

It looks like the credit card MP3 players have about 128MB to 2GB, as far as memory is concerned. I’m certain there is going to be huge price differences between those, but so far, no information, rumored or otherwise, has been released as far as the price of these revolutionary product. However, there is a projected release date of June of 2007.
