Janky V688 PMP got Skype
The V688 from Shenzhen Went Wide Shine (and that makes me wonder what they were trying to say) plays various unspecified video formats, and audio files (including MP3s) with lyric display. Image support is also included, as is FM radio functionality. Interestingly, it can also be used as a Skype phone, though no claims were made as to built-in Wi-Fi.
The device has a squint-inducing 1.8-inch screen that can show up to 260,000 colors. It is equipped with a USB 2.0 port and can be used as a mass storage device.
