NHC has released a very basic DAP, which has a 1GB capacity, supports only MP3 and WMA files, and doesn’t provide too much by way of appearance either. What the Ecolong does produce is 85 hours of playback time from one standard AAA battery. The four line monochrome 128 x 64 pixel LCD won’t demand an excessive amount of charge, but if you’re still waiting to hear where NHC has fostered the prolonged playback from, the earphone output is limited to 1mW per channel.
The Ecolong comes in a standard white color for 4,980 ¥ ($43), or if you feel the urge to cover it up there is also a green camouflage model with matching headphones and carrying pouch for an extra $8.

SanDisk has answered back to the Creative’s Zen Stone with the Sansa Clip. Around the same size as a matchbook, the player features an OLED screen (the same one found on the Express) and flexes 15 hours of battery life. The player will feature all the usual features such as FM radio/recorder, voice recorder, and support for WMA and MP3. It will also feature playback for subscription content as well as Audible content.
The Sansa Clip will be available in 1GB and 2GB capacities and sell for $40 and $60 respectively.

The new PMP from Shenzhen Powtele sports a 4-inch 480×272 touchscreen and comes in sizes of 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB varieties. Besides that, the device features an SD/MMC slot for further expansion and it supports DivX, Xvid, and OGG, among pretty much everything else. To round it out, the PMP sports e-book support and TV output.
