Meizu M6 Mini Player Second Edition

572509070505.jpg

Meizu CEO revealed today in a forum post that the Meizu M6 Mini Player SE announced late 2006 is finally in progress. The M6 SE is identical to the M6 in everything except thickness, it’s expected to be a mere 7mm thin - the same thickness as Meizu’s most recent offering, the Music Card.

Currently, it looks as if only a 8GB version will be produced and sold at 999 CNY (approx. $130 USD) August this year.

While we’re still trying to figure out whether the SE stands for Special Edition or Second Edition, Chinese Meizu fans have been speculating about the M6 SE, predicting that the SE will use the same firmware as vanilla M6, that the current 700mAh battery will be swapped for a smaller 500mAh battery and that internal wirings will need reworking.

Fed up of his MP3 player sticking awkwardly in his pocket, a designer has come up with a nifty shape for the humble MP3 player.Seeming as well mainly carry the players in our pockets, he has taken the liberty to shapre it according to our bodies.

Matthias Lange’s bright orange and white MP3 player works to have a snug fit in the back or front pocket complete with an easy viewing display screen.

This is a concept, but it may come into production.

Creative Zen Vision:M 60GB Multimedia Center Player

Let’s get things out in the open. The Apple iPod is the 800-pound gorilla when it comes to the digital media player business and, unavoidably, every other device is measured against it. In most respects, the Vision:M matches up pretty well, and there are few things you may even like better. Length and width dimensions are exactly the same at 4.1 and 2.4 inches respectively. When it comes to girth, though, the iPod has the Vision:M beat; the Vision:M is .7 inches thick, while the iPod measures .4 inches. The Vision:M is slightly heavier, too. These details aside, the Vision:M feels comfortable, yet sturdy, in the hand, with curved surfaces in all the right places.
